For RARA

I had RARA for eighteen years — most of my adult life. His kidneys gave out at the end, stage 4, the way they so often do with old cats.

When he was gone, a folder of photos wasn't enough. I wanted a book — a real, printed, hold-it-in-your-hands book with him at the center of a story. Not an album. A story.

The problem was the writing. A book like that runs about 180 pages, and I couldn't sit down and write 180 pages by hand. So I built something that could: an AI pipeline that takes what you know about the one you love — their name, their habits, the small things nobody else would think to write down — and turns it into a full-length book.

It worked. I got RARA's book.

Then it occurred to me that I'm not the only one who has lost a cherished pet, or wanted something better than a folder of photos to remember them by. So I built this website around the pipeline. Every book made here runs on the same one I built for him.

Why you see the whole book first

A loss like that — or any once-in-a-lifetime event — is stressful enough on its own. So from the beginning, nothing here hides behind a checkout page. Your first book is written before you pay anything — the whole story, the cover, every page — and you read all of it before you decide. If it isn't right, you don't buy it.
