Shipping & Delivery Times

How long printing takes, delivery estimates for the US, Canada and the UK, shipping costs, tracking, and where digital editions are sold.

Shipping & Delivery Times

Every book is printed, bound, and shipped to order — nothing is stocked on a shelf. There are two separate waits, and it helps to think of them separately.

1. Manufacturing (order placed → tracking number)

After you place an order, your book enters our print queue. Manufacturing takes at least 10–13 business days, measured from the moment you order to the day we hand you a tracking number. There is no waiting period first — your book is sent to the printer as soon as your payment goes through.

We say at least because we keep watching how long real orders actually take. When recent books have been slower than this, the estimate in your cart and on the product page moves up to match. That estimate is the one to go by, and it is never shorter than the figure above.

As your book moves through production we email you when it reaches a new stage — on the press, in the bindery, and so on — so you can follow its progress. Your order detail page shows the same stage on the copy’s badge, in the printer’s own words, so part-way through you may see a badge reading something like PRESS or BINDERY. That is normal, and Order Details & Tracking explains it.

2. Then it is in transit (tracking number → your door)

Your book leaves our bindery the day you get your tracking number. What happens next depends on where it is going — this is time on the road, not extra time before we send it:

  • Within the United States: 3–8 business days.
  • To Canada: 7–14 business days.
  • To the United Kingdom, and anywhere else we ship: 10–21 business days.

You will receive a tracking number by email the moment it ships, and you can follow the delivery from your order detail page.

Total time

Within the United States, that comes to roughly 13–21 business days from order to doorstep when manufacturing is running at the pace above. Add the longer transit figures for anywhere else. We do not offer express or rush shipping.

International Shipping

We ship printed books to the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Choose your destination in the cart before checking out — it sets the shipping cost and the delivery estimate, and checkout will then collect a shipping address in that country.

Shipping is free within the United States. Canadian and UK orders are charged a shipping fee that is shown in the cart and again at checkout before you pay. It is one charge for the order plus a small amount for each copy after the first, and it stops rising once it reaches a ceiling — so ordering several copies together still costs far less than placing separate orders. The exact figure is in your cart before you pay.

A Personalized Bible printing the King James Version is the exception: it ships to US addresses only. One printing the Berean Standard Bible ships like any other book.

A book with journal pages (lined, dot-grid or blank pages to write in) ships to the United States and Canada only. The UK taxes a book made mostly for writing in, where it does not tax one made for reading.

If you would like us to ship somewhere else, open a ticket from the Support page and ask — we cannot always say yes, but we would rather you asked.

Downloads Outside the United States

New books can be started from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, where printed books ship. Once your book is made, its digital edition and audiobook can be bought from anywhere. Outside the United States, digital editions are sold by our international reseller, which may charge in your currency and adds your local tax.

A downloaded file is taxed where the customer is rather than where a parcel lands, so a download can join a printed order in the same checkout only when you are ordering from the United States for delivery there. Otherwise check out your printed books first and buy the download on its own afterwards, at the same add-on price. See Digital Editions and Audiobooks.

Tracking Your Order

Once shipped, your order detail page will display:

  • The carrier name — whoever actually carried your parcel, which depends on where it was going.
  • The tracking number, which is itself the link to the carrier’s tracking page.
  • The ship date and delivery date (when available).

You will also receive email notifications when your book ships and when it is delivered.
